Southwest Idaho Treatment Center

Working in collaboration with the Idaho Dept. of Health & Welfare (IDHW), Job Corps, the Idaho State Dept. of Corrections, and the Idaho Division of Public Works (DPW), erstad ARCHITECTS and consultants developed the phase one master plan for the 607 acre Southwest Idaho Treatment Center (SWITC) site in Nampa, Idaho. The three concepts will be used by IDHW in their efforts to envision development opportunities for the property. The concepts explore various alternatives and phasing possibilities as well as costs for implementation of each. Tasks to develop the concepts included base maps, site assessment and inventory, and analysis of economic factors. The three concepts were completed in conjunction with IDHW and DPW staff to ensure that the direction was on target with their long range goals of capturing the best use for the property and ensuring fiscal success for IDHW and the taxpayers of Idaho. The team is currently evaluating two final concepts with market implications, phasing, and concept imagery.
