The Salvation Army (TSA) has been working with erstad ARCHITECTS since 2010 on master planning a new modern campus that will allow the organization to continue to serve the people in Ada County. After several years of investigating various locations, the selection of their current site on Emerald Street in 2017 allowed schematic design to begin on Phase 1. This phase of the TSA project includes a 44,500 S.F. multipurpose building to house the school programs, child care center, auditorium/chapel, gymnasium, commercial kitchen/cafeteria, and administrative offices. It will also provide a Community Center and multipurpose athletic fields for an underserved neighborhood in West Boise.
