Kris graduated from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Construction Management. During her time there she kick started an Architectural Professional Fraternity, Alpha Rho Chi, teaching fellow students how to do headstands and traveling to see the architecture of the world. Eight months after graduating, Kris accepted a job opportunity with an educational motivation/consulting company helping design and lead their tour around the country. Kris spent a year preparing and implementing workshops with principals, teachers, and students to inspire change and problem solving in the classroom. While traveling Kris found her passion for working with people motivated to change the world and became obsessed with climbing the mountains of the West on her mountain bike. She knew she was ready to leave the Southeast, but not before spending a year in Atlanta designing and remodeling a 1990 Limited addition Airstream into a second educational tour vehicle and program. When it came time to move out west she Googled “Boise Architecture Firm changing the world.” She made her first selection and the rest is history.
