In March 2016, The College of Idaho embarked on a mission to revitalize its historic Voorhees and Finney residential halls, dating back to 1910 and 1912 respectively. The comprehensive renovation, spanning from roof to basement, included new elevators, code upgrades, ADA accessibility, HVAC, windows, plumbing, and electrical systems. Modern technology and amenities were seamlessly integrated into the design. By February 2017, Voorhees Hall’s 16,000 square feet had been transformed, followed by Finney Hall’s completion in January 2018. Together, they stand as shining examples of historic preservation and contemporary living.
